I created my first website in 1998, using Dreamweaver and ASP. During my higschool and study time I worked as a casual web developer for a local web agency (http://www.mmmm.cc), where I started using PHP and hand-coding HTML. There I also got in touch with the LAMP stack and linux scripting.
After some time working as a part-time network assistant me and a friend decided to start our own business so we founded alpindesign.at. We offered webdesign and development, as well as photography and print design.
In 2007 I started working as a full time web developer at http://www.styleflasher.at . There I could learn more about PHP using the eZPublish cms-framework and writing clean and semantic HTML/CSS and Javascript primarily using JQuery.
One of the biggest projects I have been able to work on during that time was vivomondo.com. It provides geolocation-based content for towns, cities and communities. It was very exciting working on it and gave me the opportunity to be involved in the process of developing a larg-scale website.
After moving to Australia in 2008 I worked as a freelance webdeloper, mainly for my former employer (styleflasher.at) and a local design agency (thesquad.com.au).
I am a keen learner and try to keep up to date with my knowledge and skills. I am flexible when it comes to new technologies and always trying to getting better in what I am doing.
