Jodi Peak's Resume
| Eagle Vale, New South Wales 2558 Australia |
Overview
I have worked in customer service for the past twelve and a half years, and thoroughly enjoy this role. I am confident in communicating with people of all races and age, and treat all with equal respect.
I completed school until year 10, deciding to leave as a full time position was available for me at my current place of employment.
I started my career in customer service at McDonalds in October 1998. I worked my way through positions of casual crew, then to crew trainer and party hostess. After two and a half years in this role, I was offered a position in the management team, as a trainee manager. I worked in this position, and learnt the role and responsibilities of a shift supervisor, and was promoted to a shift manager six months later. After working at McDonalds for three and a half years, I decided I would like to venture outside the McDonalds family and I resigned, though 2 months later I realised I had not finished with my McDonalds career and rejoined another restaurant in the position of a 2nd assistant manager. Since 2003, I have continued my training through management positions and courses. In October 2008, I completed my last management course (Restaurant Leadership Practices), and was promoted to Restaurant Manager where i continued to work until I resigned in July of this year.
After receiving Certificates 1 to 4 in Retail Management, I am now eligible to receive my Diploma in Retail Management, which I should receive shortly.
Achievements
During my career with McDonalds, I received many awards and certificates.
Starting from station awards as a crew person which identified me as the best out of a group of 100+ employees on various positions in the restaurant eg. Best Front counter service/Best Fries person/Best Party Hostess etc
Moving into management, I received bonus money for achieving zero opportunities when mystery shoppers visited on my shifts
I received manager of the quarter in 2008, the prize being a trip for two people to Melbourne or Queensland.
In 2009, I received manager of the year, the prize being a trip for two for seven days to Disneyland. Also this year, my rating was significant, which entitled me to attend the Restuarant Managers Summit in Hawaii. My owner operator awarded myself and two others an additional bonus when the summit had finished, he sent us to Las Vegas in recognition of our hard work.
Throughout the years as a manager, I also received many monetary bonuses for achieving significant ratings in performance reviews.
