Ki Ora I am an experienced Secondary teacher, with a teaching background in specialist education for young people in a Child, Youth and Family Residence. I have a strong interest in social and behavioral students, alternative education for at risk youth, as well as striving for better Maori achievement. My experience has given me skills in behavior management, team teaching, inter department communication and student/teacher rapport. While residing in Kaikoura I would like to get more experience by teaching within a rural mainstream school, and would be grateful to join your school community.
