19 years experience in the building , joinery and furniture making industries . having completed my 4 year apprenticeship making custom made solid timber furniture , I continued developing skills in that facet for a further 2 years as a tradesman.  I then worked for joinery companies that made kitchens wardrobes both in the workshop and on - site . from 2002 I have worked for building companies as a site carpenter and have enjoyed it thoughly , alot of the work has been renovation of houses lasting from 1 month to 8 months . we ( jm building services) also had contracts with canada bay and woollahra councils and worked closely with the property services division at both.
