Overview
Referring to my working history, I am a conscientious and steady person in regard to my occupation, tasks and aims.
For the next 12 years after graduating from high school, I developed a career in the field of Biology. I first completed my university Biology degree, then I studied for a Diploma in Teaching after which I taught Biology at high school level. With new possibilities available I changed my career to tourism and over the next 15 years like in my previous working field decided to first increase my knowledge graduating in a Business and Tourism post-university course then owning and operating a successful tourism company in Bucharest, Romania.
I am now beginning a new chapter in my life. In March 2010, after 2 years in growing relationship I was married to an Australian citizen. We decided that it was better for both of us and our families to start and develop our life together here in Australia rather than in Europe, especially when the GFC hit harder there, than in Australia. I can't wait to build again my social life and working career in this beautiful place, being ready to use all my existing skills, previous education and attributes, but also prepared for any up-skilling in order to be happy and successful in whatever working career becomes available.
I am pleased that English language was a part of my education and an important tool in my previous work, as well as helping me to start and develop a relationship with an English speaking person and so transforming this partnership into a lifetime marriage together.
Finally, I am looking forward to becoming integrated into a social and working team to further help hone my communication skills, while also exploring for any specific English courses that could assist me in qualifying for possible job or career promotion.
Achievements
My first achievement was to graduate from university with a Degree in Biology, then complete a Diploma of Teaching and finally teach at high school level.
My next achievement started over 15 years ago, when I took the opportunity to join a tourism company. I began to work as a Tour Leader, then as a Tourism Manager Assistant, then a Qualified Manager and when the company’s shareholders presented me their wish to close the tourism business, I bought the business and became the owner and Managing Director.
I further developed the company and in just few years it became a Romanian Tour Operator, with qualified staff, a wide range of programs, numerous clients and with business partners all over the world.
The company’s success was due to the rigorous advertising campaigns, personalized contracts and the sale of our own holiday packages to hundreds of other Romanian travel agencies throughout the country.
On furthering the development of the company, I decided to re-brand and re-name it and specialize in the lucrative tourist charter operations. Even though it was a difficult and sustained job at first, it became a very successful operation. In achieving this my company became one of the first Romanian Tour Operators to help our overseas partners to know, understand and fulfil our tourist’s special needs and also assisted in creating one of the first programs addressing in particular our local market, especially for the main requested holiday destinations of Greece, Turkey and Spain. .
We were the first tourism company starting a special charter chain operation in Egypt and in Rhodes Island as well.
It is a commonly known fact, that in the worldwide tourism industry employee turnover rates are very high, due to stress, high client expectations, continual changing conditions and the movement of non-qualified staff. With this in mind, I made it my personal challenge to be always prepared, up-to-date with, information, the changing worldwide tourism conditions and having only qualified staff. Also I used all international and European tourism standards
My company operated under the same international values as other European companies and it was ready, as my country itself, to be a part of the European community.

Interests
I am a big nature and animal lover. During my University Biology Degree I studied felines and for 12 months observed tigers in captivity at the Bucharest Zoo in Romania. My lifetime hobby is with felines. I would be very excited to find work in this area., I have very good communication skills because of the university degress I took plus with 15 years travelling, working, dealing and negotiating with business partners from around the world. So I am interested in working in fields that have negotiation, contracting and sales areas., I am also interested in finding a job in health or biology fields, due to my previous studies. I am also ready to add to my education any necessary course that will enable me to become totally qualified for any future work or career., Due to my vast experience in all areas of tourism management, I would be extremely confident in any area of tourism or hospitality. In overview I am very interested in having a PR, sales or marketing career., On reviewing my entire educational studies, previous work experience, and hobbies, I would like to start a working career in any department or company related with human resources, skills and relationship development issues. I also like to be involved in a job which is related to counselling and/or teaching.
