stacie hall's Resume
Overview
I have 12 UK GCSE's ranging from grades A-C, and I finished all 5 years of my higher education in 2003. I also have a BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts which I took over 2 years and I finished that course in 2005. I enjoyed every minute of my college course as it allowed me to learn new skills and interact with a number of different personalities during my time there, many of who I am still it close contact with. I am a very outgoing and social person so Perfoming Arts and stage work was something that came very naturally to me.
Since finishing college I have had a number of jobs starting out at my local DIY shop where my skills included handling cash, working on the tills and computers and dealng with enquiries on a daily basis. I very briefly worked in retail as a sales person where I was required to meet daily targets and interact closely with the buying public. I have also had a few local bar jobs where I would serve the locals their favourite ales, cash up at the end of my shifts, clean down the bar and lock up during the evenings. My most recent job was with a well known bank where I worked for six years. I started as a cashier dealing with large amounts of money and the running of the safe, daily deposits and general banking queries. I then progressed on to become a fully trained and qualified financial adviser, I very much enjoyed this role and became very successful, as I loved speaking to customers one on one and helping them through financial hardship.
Achievements
I have had a number of very different and very challenging jobs, most of which I have very much enjoyed. I have had to meet some very high targets set by my employers and I have had to meet some interesting characters along the way. My best achievement to date though has to be during my time with natwest. Six years is a long time with any company, but they always spotted potential with me and pushed me to strave for more within my career. I started as a cashier, and very quickly progress into the role as counter manager where I would order in and distribute money, deal with foreign currency and handle the running of 8 other cashiers. After 18 months doing this role I was asked to apply for the roles of Customer Adviser, which I was successful in getting. I was then trained up over a six month period and fully qualified to provide financial advice. I was set a quarterly target to meet, which was based around the products that we offered within the bank. As my confidence grew with that role so did my success rate of hitting those targets and I became top within my area of 14 Customer Advisers. Sadly I have have now left that employment to travel around Australia, however my postion still stand with them if I wish to return to the UK.
