I have a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) from QUT and have been teaching in the state school system since late 2007. As well as state schools, I have experience working in childcare, outside school hours care and have also worked as a youth worker. I was nominated for a teaching excellence award at Calamvale Community College in 2010.

I am a professional person who takes pride in my work. I have a strong commitment to the needs of all children and am extremely passionate about empowering young people. I am a people person who has great interpersonal skills, working well both autonomously and in teams. I have a positive attitude and I am always looking to improve upon my current skills and knowledge. I have a great rapport with children and value these relationships highly.
